Scientists have discovered a giant rodent five times the size of a typical city rat in the rainforests of Indonesia. The huge rat apparently has no fear of humans, and was discovered when it stumbled into the scientists’ camp. Finding new mammals is very rare in the 21st century, the researchers say.
